The brand LAKS BY LISA was established in late 2010 and the first collection was launched in spring 2011.

LAKS BY LISA is offering high quality, eco - friendly fish leather accessories manufactured in Europe with craftsmanship and consciousness. LAKS is the Norwegian word for salmon.

The main material is salmon leather which is a by - product of the food industry and has its origin mostly in organic fish farms. Lisa receives skins from both German and Icelandic tanning factories. In addition, both cow and goat leather is used to accomplish the models. The product range is including bags, clutches as well as a variety of hair accessories and other small goods. The bags and purses are manufactured at a small company close to Krakow, Poland. All materials, including the various leather types, zippers, lining and other details are hand-picked by the designer herself and do have certified European origin.

The smaller accessories, such as hair barrettes, are hand-made by Lisa herself and created out of the left-overs from the bag production.

The collection is characterized by a combination of clear yet playful patterns inspired by Scandinavian simplicity, vintage shapes and a little hint of Japanese "kawaiiness",  presented in both fresh and natural colors.

LAKS BY LISA – accessories are sold and have been exhibited in countries such as Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Japan.

The brand has been featured in international magazines like The Japan Times, Lederwarenreport, Step Fashion as well as Scandinavian fashion magazines like Costume, Stella, HENNE and KK.

Besides being a designer and creator for her own brand, Lisa has been working as an assistant store manager, buyer and designer for an exclusive leather glove store in Oslo since 2008.
